We recognize the effort and generosity of our members who have kept going above and beyond their stewardship duty to ensure that our brothers and sisters were supported during a most traumatic experience.
Since October 2025, we have contributed over J$4.87m. towards the Melissa response mission and ministry, in the following communities:
. Retrieve, St. James
. Lambs River, Westmoreland
. Maryland, Hanover
. Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth
. Lowe River, Trelawny
. Bryce, Manchester
. Holland Bamboo, St. Elizabeth
. Lacovia, St. Elizabeth
For us at Meadowbrook United Church, this has been an opportunity for us to be truly the hands and feet of God, signifying the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. With other local congregations these relief activities continue.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
DROP OFF LOCATION 📍
The Meadowbrook United Church in partnership with RJR is collecting and distributing care packages to those negatively impacted by the passing of Hurricane Melissa.
Persons wishing to contribute can drop off their donations at the church office at 2 Flemington Drive, Kingston 19, between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00 pm, Mondays- Fridays.

Your financial support can make an immediate difference—cash donations will help provide essential supplies and assistance to those affected.
PRAYER
Let us continue to lift up in prayer all those affected by Hurricane Melissa. We believe that prayer is powerful- our first response, not our last resort- and we stand together in faith, asking God to bring comfort, protection, and restoration to every life touched by this storm.
